The article is devoted to the procuratorial supervision in the places of execution of the sentence of imprisonment. Special attention is paid to the problem of protecting the rights of prisoners through the procuratorial supervision. The subject and limits of this type of the procuratorial supervision are considered, its specificity and problem points are highlighted.
