The nature and tasks of view of place of occurrence by cases of smuggling narcotic drugs

The article examines controversial issues relating to the nature tasks of view of place of occurrence by cases of smuggling narcotic drugs. It is emphasized that as a result of this investigation activity the information can be obtained about some circumstances of commitment of a specific crime on the basis of which the further direction of its investigation can be determined. The article also notes that the successful investigation of crimes have been related to smuggling narcotic drugs can depend on a proper understanding of the tasks of view of place of occurrence because it promotes full, comprehensive, objective and extensive procedure of this investigation activity; it is possible to determine causal connections of the offender actions with become effects and find out these offenders and other circumstances which are relevant to the case on the basis of information obtained in the examination of condition and mechanism of happened event, the detection and examination of material traces. It is considered in depth the differences of the procedure of view of place of occurrence from questioning procedure. Attention is drawn to the fact that their confusion leads to a combined investigation activity of view-questioning which does not exist in the criminal procedure legislation and, thus, its results have not an evidential significance. Also the differences in fixation of view of place of occurrence and questioning are considered in the article.
