The article considers the legal nature of personal obligations; analyzes the essence of the continuity of the obligation with the personality of the debtor. The author concludes that the absence of a direct legislative prohibition to transfer the performance of a personal obligation to a third party allows us to call a conditionally personal obligation, which is personal in nature or in terms.
