24-hour blood pressure profile in pregnant women having arterial hypertension in the III trimester of pregnancy

Aimed at optimizing the diagnosis of arterial hypertension in pregnant women, indices of 24-hour monitoring of blood pressure were studied. Complex studies using 24-hour blood pressure monitoring were used to examine 48 pregnant women including 38 with hypertensive disease and 10 practically healthy pregnant women as controls. Impaired blood pressure circadian variation was revealed in pregnant women having arterial hypertension.
