Supernatural origin of moral consciousness in the philosophy of Merab Mamardashvili

The article discusses the key plots of Merab Mamardashvili’s ethical philosophy, which states, despite the main emphasis on the role of a person, the superhuman origin of ethical intuition and moral consciousness. The author shows that moral consciousness is based on the notion of absolute values, the absoluteness of which stems from the conscious and free acceptance of the impossibility of thinking and acting differently.
