Holy mount Athos and modern enlightenment

The article explores the personal experience of contemporary scholars’ pilgrimage to Mount Athos and a discussion devoted to the role of Mount Athos in contemporary education, including the international conferences “The Holy Mount Athos - the Unique Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of Humanity”, which were held in Weimar and Belgrade, with monks from the Holy Mount among its participants.
