The research focuses on the issue of actualization of taxic meanings in the functional structures of the German language containing verb-nominal analytical constructions based on actional and procedural deverbatives. Functional structures are considered as verbal constructions consisting of a functional verb and a nominal component, as combinations of semantically empty verbs with nouns. Deverbatives have a two-layer syncretic semantics. They retain verbal semantic characteristics and are in the field of syncretism of the noun and verb. Deverbatives as nouns have grammatical categories of gender, number and case and, accordingly, they are characterized by belonging to a specific word-formation (derivational) model. Being derived syncretic formations, deverbatives are characterized not only by "verbogenicity", but also by taxicity. The purpose of this work is to describe the taxic categorical meanings of pseudo-contemporaneity in German monopropositive statements with verb-deverbative combinations. The material of this study was statements with verb-deverbative analytical constructions obtained by the method of directed sampling from the electronic database of the Leipzig Corpus (LC) and the Electronic Dictionary of the German Language (DWDS). The study found that statements with verb-nominal structures containing prepositional deverbatives and functional verbs are monopropositive. The composition of monopropositive utterances includes verb-noun constructions consisting of proposed deverbatives with the prepositions zu, in and the functional verbs bringen, nehmen, anregen, setzen, verfallen, geraten.
