This article engages in a socio-philosophical exploration of certain aspects of the interaction between man and technology at the present stage of development. It illustrates that the advent of the information age is accompanied by profound socio-cultural changes closely intertwined and distinctly correlated with the key vectors of scientific and technological advancement, particularly emphasizing the pivotal role of information and communication technologies. The article concludes on the deterministic and transformative influence of these technologies on socio-cultural reality and on humanity itself, substantiating their anthropomodifying significance. It is noted that through the active incorporation of modern information and communication technologies into everyday life, humans endeavor to adapt to existence simultaneously within the realms of physical and digital worlds, navigating through vast volumes of information, virtual communication, and beyond. This adaptation process results in the alteration and expansion of the natural biopsychosocial nature of individuals. A logical outcome of such transformative technological influence is the emergence of a new type of human - technologically advanced - endowed with qualities that determine their existence in the modern information-driven world.
