Experimentally proved the feasibility of use in the diets of dairy cows, sudance-alfalfa silage with the aim of improving the technological properties of milk. Of the cows of black-motley breed, taking into account age, body weight, level of milk production in the previous lactation on the principle of the groups-analogues formed three groups. The difference in feeding of the cows was the fact that animals of the first group (control) received corn silage, the second - sudance-alfalfa and the third sudance silage. Feeding was carried out three times according to the daily routine accepted in economy. The size and quantity of fat balls is an important characteristic of milk as a raw material for butter production. When fed to cows, sudance-alfalfa silage diameter of fat globules was significantly higher compared to animals receiving corn silage and stankovyj, but their number was less. The use of fat in the production of peasant oil from milk obtained from cows of this group was higher and amounted to 99,5 %. However, differences between the groups at the time of churning the cream, as well as in education and as oil grain we have not yet determined. Due to the best dispersnosti fatty phase, milk from cows treated with sudance-alfalfa silage was much better in its technological properties in comparison with animals fed stankovyj and corn silage. When fed to animals, sudance-alfalfa silage improves the technological properties of milk from the point of view of its fitness for butter making. This is characterized by an increase in the diameter of the fat balls by 9,89 and 5,07 % compared to animals that received in the diet of corn and Sudanese silage, which in turn contributes to the increased use of fat in the production of oil.
