Distance learning technologies in learning foreign languages

Distance learning offers progressive opportunities, methods and options for foreign language learners in the current situation under the pressure of the widespread transition to online learning in today's changing environment. Today, this type of education provides a flexible time management system for students depending on their desires, needs and forced restrictions in their studies. The emergence of modern technological programs and developments aimed at the expansion of distance learning has had a significant impact on the methodology and standards of education. It is both important to study the main potential areas of research and to observe the latest developments in the distance learning process, but also to recognize existing modern methodologies, analyze possible blinks, suggest solutions to them, so to adapt and apply them as to be considered important when using distance learning. This article highlights the main works related to distant language learning, based on their significant results. Some recommendations valuable for future researches stated in this article allow taking a broader look at this kind of the education system.
