Artificial intelligence technologies in photographic processes and photography teaching

The article examines the problem of development of photographic technologies and introduction of artificial intelligence in photographic processes, considers approaches to application of AI in photography in general and photographic art in particular. The history of world photography as evolution of photographic technologies, as well as features of mutual influence of creative and technical components of photographic art are analyzed. The significance of invention of digital photography as a revolutionary event in history of obtaining and preserving visual information is defined. Characteristics of AI editors designed to interpret content of images are given. The article presents a detailed picture of application of artificial intelligence technologies to increase efficiency of photographers and artists, expansion of their creative and technical capabilities. The attitude to AI of different categories of photography practitioners is analyzed depending on their type of activity and tasks performed. The advantages and risks of application of artificial intelligence technologies in photographic art and photographic education are analyzed.
