The Russian Federation has accurate strategy of development of northern and Arctic regions, owing to geographical, natural and climatic features of the enterprise and organization will organize work as a shift method. Article is devoted to the analysis of category of the workers working with a shift method. On the example of the subject of the Russian Federation is an industrial enterprise of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) research is conducted. Results of research showed features of adaptation processes for category of workers shift workers. Relying on results, practical recommendations of application of instrument and technologies of human resource management for increase of efficiency and labor productivity are developed.
