The article presents the methodology of creative approach to learning a foreign language in the modern school. The creative process helps students to think critically, to understand rationally the opportunities and to solve the emerg- ing tasks, to develop communication skills, independence. Innovative technologies are showed on the example of the pedagogical workshop of building knowledge in the lesson of Spanish. The author presents methods of teaching in interchangeable pairs to work in the workshops. Innovative technologies allow the student: to be liberated during exercise; to understand that his opinion is important to others; to understand that he can be wrong, and nobody will judge; to assess and develop his abilities; to take decisions independently.
