Technology of cellular roads laying on the swamps of the Ist category

The application of new technologies at roads construction is complicated by insufficient development of subject of their technological application. In this regard, the task of technology development with the use of geosynthetic materials at cellular roads construction on the swamps of the Ґ category is actual. This article substantiates the possibility of applying the new technology of cellular roads construction with application of the geosynthetic materials and geolattices on swamps of the given type. The choice of geolattices is defined by the additional requirements to a roadbed on swamps taking into account specific features of marsh soil. The technologies that are being applied nowadays are based on expensive and ineffective ways of removing peat with machines, using explosion method or hydromechanization. Geosynthetic materials in the pavements construction and a roadbed carry out functions of drain, the filter or fittings; therefore, their application at construction of temporary roads promotes redistribution of tension in the roadbed basis. Crushed stone, that reduces «dangerous» tangent tension, reinforces flat polypropylene geolattices that have rigid nodal connections and the high module of elasticity. The offered technology assumes simultaneous use of a geolattice and geotextiles that leads to achievement of double effect: the textiles exclude interpenetration between initial soil and contents of a geolattice, and the connected cells reliably reinforce all construction.
