Technology of instant tea drinks from sea buckthorn leaves

The article presents the results of a literary search on tea production from the time of Lu Yu to the present day. The analysis of the results of patent research in the field of extraction of plant raw materials is carried out. The results of studies on the production of soluble tea drinks from sea buckthorn leaves, which are a by-product of processing, are presented. The possibility of using combined methods for obtaining extracts from sea buckthorn leaves of the Selenga ecotype is considered. The optimal technological parameters of the extraction, concentration and drying processes of sea buckthorn raw materials were determined experimentally. The technology and the project of the technological structure for the production of instant tea drinks from sea buckthorn leaves have been developed. The technology was tested in the experimental workshop of the industrial partner LLC "Small Innovative Enterprise "BaikalEkoProdukt" and recommended for implementation at sea buckthorn processing plants.
