Technology of test development: part IV

The article is a continuation of the description of step-by-step technology of test development which statement is begun in the previous issues. The fourth part of a series of articles describes the VI-th "interpretative" stage of test development process and discusses the key tasks of this stage, connected with development of schemes of interpretation, preparing of texts of interpretations and describing of various models of reporting. Also discussed in detail the three principles of providing quality of interpretations and validity of diagnostic reports: (1) focus on concrete practical purposes, (2) adherence to the borders of content, (3) reliance to the empirical data obtained during the psychometric check of a test.
