Textiles and the interior of a hotel room

The authors discuss the requirements for textile materials used in the living quarters' design of a hotel room; analyze the available materials for decoration (for example, in the light openings and bedrooms) and general principles of the material selection for the interior decor. The article reviews the properties of textile fabrics (various brands) and examines the features of classical textile materials (curtain fabric) and materials made of thermostable polyester Trevira fiber. The experimental data results in the practical recommendations for the application of the testedfabrics in the interior decoration of a hotel room.
