Textualising the metaphor in the literary text (the I.A. Bunin's novel "Dark alleys")

The metaphor as a row of nominations is analyzed in the I.A. Bunin's text "Dark Alleys". Text units that make the trope are predicate unities with common properties (semantics and position in the text). There are defined the stages of metaphor forming, the ways and aspects of axiological state of primary nomination and the subjective reference in the text.
