Body as performance

Long-standing stigmatization of the themes of the body and corporeality is a multifaceted issue with a long philosophical background. Interest in the phenomenon of the body that has been seen in philosophy and art since the twentieth century is of particular importance in terms of the formation of a modern anthropological model. The author refers to contemporary art as an example of the ontologization of the bodily sphere.
