The press and tendencies in national school development in Volga region republics

The article reveals the importance of regional press in enlightenment of the people of Volga region analysing situation in Republics of Mordivia, Tatarstan and Chuvashia. The influence of the press on the development of native school and education in native languages is described. Importance of high quality education is emphasized.
