Theme of "life" by Pushkin and Russian literature of the XIX century

The article deals with the image-concept of "life" - one of the most important for Russian literature. The data from the world culture are attracted (biblical tradition, literature of the XVIII century, romanticism, Nietzsche). Particular attention is paid to the existence of the image-concept of "life" in Pushkin's poetry, which laid the foundations of his perception in the national literature (Slavophiles, Ap. Grigoriev, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Blok).
