Trends in the development of anti-crisis management in the field of tourism

The influence of external and internal factors, the current demand situation in the service market form the trends in the development of the tourism industry. In the previous decade, the Russian tourism industry demonstrated a steady development not affected by the global economic recession and the decline in demand in many economic activities. However, in 2020, due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for the tourism industry, a negative situation that was typical for most countries of the world and Russia developed. Restrictions and suspensions of tourism enterprises caused a significant drop in key indicators of the tourist flow, updated various measures of anti-crisis regulation, including state aid, insurance, and networking. The article examines the statistical indicators of the tourism sector, the causes and conditions of the current situation, the most effective directions of anti-crisis regulation in the management of industrial enterprises. A significant decline in the results of 2020 updated the application of state support measures, insurance reserves, and changed the concept of market activity and planning. The article reveals the characteristic features of risks in the tourism industry, which determines the need for effective interaction with insurance companies. The article analyzed characteristic features of insurance in the tourism industry, the features of voluntary and compulsory insurance of tourists and identified the insurance risks faced by tour operators.
