Trends in the development of expert activities in the Russian Federation in the context of digitalization

The concept of expert activity in the context of the provisions of the Federal Law of 31.05.2001 N 73-FL, its goals, objectives and main subjects involved in the implementation of expert examinations are considered. The reasons for the transformation of the institution of forensic examination are revealed, taking into account the digitalization of the economic and legal space of the Russian Federation. The main trends in the development of expert activity in the Russian Federation in the context of the emergence of electronic evidence and automated systems aimed at effective consideration and resolution of the case in court are presented.
