Trends in the development of local self-government in Russia and foreign countries

Issues of local significance can be considered as tasks related to the direct provision of the life of the population of municipalities, therefore, local government and its development are an important component of the daily life of citizens. The article reveals the significance of local self-government reform. Foreign experience in the field of local self-government organization is considered. The existing trends in the development of local self-government both in Russia and in foreign countries are presented.
