Development trends of managerial staff's professional activity in institutions of general education

The consolidation of managerial staff of institutions of general education is one of the primary state tasks. The result of solving the task will be the achievement of modern education quality which is changed appropriately with the needs of a society and socio-economic circumstances. The basic development trends of managerial staff’s professional activity in institutions of general education are analyzed: management of innovations, development of monitoring system of watching over the quality of educational activity, development of modern information environment in the system of general education, educational marketing, implementation of educational paradigm and some others. The necessity of working out the generalized structure of pedagogical staff’s activity and of formulating the competences in their different types is substantiated. It is also validated that there is a necessity of working out an integral system of certifying the qualification of general education staff, of mechanisms of its implementation and of the procedure of assessment of the staff on the basis of studying the modern development tendencies of professional activity of managerial staff working in general educational institutions. The results of the research work make it possible to determine the tendencies in the development of professional activity of managerial staff of institutions of general education and in further solving of the problem of working out the professional standard and in creating the new qualification certification system of general education staff.
