Theoretical and empirical guidelines for studies in social policy implemented in the regions of Russia

The paper deals with analysis of general formats of social welfare services in the population of Russia, namely pension, benefits/ allowances, compensatory payments and social assistance. In addition to, the study specifies operation of public funds (both budget-funded and off-budget ones) allocating funds for the system of social welfare services in the country.
