Theoretical aspects of the formation of a resource base in crop production

The resource base in crop production is a complex of theoretical, economic, social, environmental, and organizational elements that ensure all stages of the production cycle, from preparation and creation of conditions to the direct use of resources in the process of growing products, in close connection with other areas of agriculture. The article explores the development of scientifically based approaches to the optimal spatial distribution of agricultural crops. Special attention is given to optimizing the use of available resources and strategically replacing critical components.
