Theoretical aspects of rational parameters substantiation of machine-tractor unit at reduced cost

Main parameters of machine-tractor unit include: working width, weight, required power, productivity, capacity of bunkers, tanks, reservoirs and others. The most general criterion for efficiency of mobile agricultural units is direct operating costs per unit of work performed, since they express influence of all factors. The aim of the study is the theoretical aspects of rational parameters substantiation of a machine-tractor unit based on reduced costs. It has been established that mobile agricultural processes are determined by a large number of factors that are random in nature and, therefore, their assessment must be carried out in accordance with the principles of probability theory, since analytical methods used to calculate deterministic systems are insufficient. The most important parameters of machine-tractor unit functioning are substantiated in terms of operating costs. The stated provisions allow to establish optimal parameters of machine-tractor unit based on reduced costs.
