Theoretical and experimental research of self-regulation in educational and cognitive activity at children with normal pace of development and children with mental retardation

The article presents an analysis of the fundamental and applied psychological research on the self-regulation of the cognitive activity in preschool and primary school age. The main scientific approaches to self-control in educational and cognitive activity of children with a delay of mental development are considered.
