Theoretical basis for preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour

Social problems arising in our society intensify the processes of tackling crimes, the implementation of these processes is transformed in the sphere of crime prevention, which is the subject of juridical, psychological and pedagogical sciences. There are theoretical problems hindering the effective practical realization of preventive measures. The author focuses on the subjects of crime prevention, estimates certain provisions of theory of social control, theory of cultural deviations and labelling theory, behaviourist theory, psychological activity theory and theory of functional systems, which are the basis for prevention of delinquent behaviour.
