Theoretical foundations for the formation of musical and performing culture in children aged 5-8 years in music schools in China

Musical education of children of senior preschool age in music schools in China is crucial for the development of future musicians and their musical and performing culture. The work examines the views of domestic and foreign scientists on the essence and content of the concept of “musical performing culture”. Five components of the expressiveness of musical performance are identifi ed: generative rules, emotional expression, random variability, principle of movement, stylistic originality. The main elements of musical performing culture are identifi ed - performance technique, musical notation, imagination, performance practice.
