Тheoretical and historical considerations of institutes of education and educational institutions

In educational research it's advisable to use the term «educational institution» instead of the term «institute of education». Educational institution in its general meaning can be defined as a social institution with a specific pedagogical meaning, which implements pedagogical functions by means of cognitive and practical pedagogical activities and organization of the educational process. The pedagogical activity and pedagogical process in educational institutions provide and present the formulation and solution of specific pedagogical cognitive and practical tasks.
