Theoretical-bibliographic bases for building an integrated information space of knowledge

The article is devoted to the problem of using bibliographic data in the process of forming an integrated information space of knowledge. There is presented a brief but voluminous in content comparative-analytical overview of key domestic bibliographic concepts, which demonstrates their continuity, the connection of theoretical views of modern authors of concepts with the ideas of previous researchers, the main bibliographic functions are defined. On the basis of theoretical analysis of bibliographic concepts the author attempts to establish the essential characteristics of bibliography and to define its metasystem, which are the fundamental concepts of building an integrated information space of knowledge, an analysis of the concept of "information space" is given. Conclusions are given on the choice of the preferred bibliographic concept and the significance of bibliographic knowledge is determined and its application in the construction of a large-scale information resource of knowledge, the potential user of which is defined by the scientific community.
