The article explains the theoretical-methodological model of the comparative studies in contemporary cultural studies, the experience of the comparative cultural studies is analyzed, the basic directions of comparative culture research are defined and methodological ways of thinking over intercultural differences are determined. Theoretical and methodological potential of comparative approach in system reflection of cultural diversity and fundamental researches of cross-cultural difference is disclosed.
