Theoretical and methodological aspects of moral and patriotic education of students by means of Russian folk pedagogy

The relevance of the study of this topic is due to the complex modern cultural and civilizational situation, long-term sanctions pressure, global civilizational confrontation and geostrategic clash between Russia and the collective West. Due to the increasing tension in the field of international relations, the Government of the Russian Federation has focused close attention on three components of the geopolitical power of the state: economic, military and spiritual. The "National Doctrine" aims to improve the moral education of the younger generation of Russians who treat with due respect and respect the multinational people of the Russian Federation, their religions, language, traditions and heritage of material and spiritual culture, capable of building their future and the future of their Homeland on the basis of democratic principles. The content of the Fundamentals of the State Youth Policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025 sets out the priority educational principle of civic and patriotic values. «Education of patriotic-minded youth with independent thinking, possessing a creative worldview, professional knowledge, demonstrating a high culture, including the culture of interethnic communication, responsibility and the ability to make independent decisions aimed at improving the welfare of the country, the people and their family». The necessity of educating patriots of our state is also emphasized in the Methodological Recommendations "Fundamentals of patriotic education of citizens of the Russian Federation". According to this document, patriotic education can be successfully implemented through the ten most effective facets. Pedagogy is given a leading place in this list. The social order of modern teaching is to raise the implementation of the educational process to a higher, qualitatively new level. However, the training of future teachers does not adequately meet modern requirements. A significant part of the graduates of the pedagogical university do not have knowledge and skills in this area of educational work and do not show interest in it. This makes the problem of improving the preparation of future teachers for educational work, and patriotic education in particular, especially important.
