Theoretical and methodological foundations of the problem of forming artistic and aesthetic competence of teacher training college students

Topicality of forming the artistic and aesthetic competence of teacher training college students is proved, concepts “competence” and “ artistic and aesthetic competence” are specified, components of artistic and aesthetic competence are discussed, conditions of its formation are determined, ways of diagnosing are shown practical ways of forming the competence are proposed and further research prospects are outlined.
