The article presents the results of the study, the purpose of which is to analyze the theoretical and methodological prerequisites for the phygitalization of training in the context of increasing its effectiveness as a teaching method at a university. To achieve this goal, the authors used a set of theoretical scientific methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, comparative method, critical analysis, systematization. The article contains a review of the literature on the topic of the study. The identification of the echelon of publications on the topic of the study was carried out using open Russian and international resources of scientific information. It is substantiated that the theoretical basis for improving the training method is the understanding of the essence of phygital education as a synthesis of physical and digital components that provide a new unique personalized learning experience; the methodological paradigm of phygitalization of training is based on an integrative approach in pedagogy; the main pedagogical principles are the principles of active learning, rethought in the context of blurring the boundaries between offline and online pedagogical environments; pedagogical conditions for the implementation of phygital trainings include socio-cultural, psychological, pedagogical, technical and technological factors. It is noted that the phygitalization of training as an educational reconstruction allows preserving and strengthening in a qualitatively new learning space such key advantages of this method as practical focus, interactivity and adaptability.
