The category of professional future as a resource of professional formation. Theoretical and methodological background

Analysis and generalization of theoretical and methodological background of the category of professional future made it possible to see it as a separate psychological construct linked with actualized content of professional formation both in structure and content and as a resource of professional formation via the analysis of psychological content. The thesis that the process of professional identity is system forming as it provides the unication of professional future, potential and the process of professional formation is proven. The position of possible approach to professional future as an attractor for a developing and functioning structure of professional formation, professional identity, time perspective, psychological future and potential opportunities (or resources) of a college student is maintained.
