Theoretical and practical bases for implementing Russia's energy policy under conditions of global economy digitalization

The article deals with the issues of modernizing energy infrastructure of the Russian Federation, transiting to sustainable energy sources, increasing energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint. It analyzes the place and role of Russia in the global energy market, and provides practical guidelines for achieving the goals set in accordance with the Energy Strategy 2035. We also focus on Russia's role in global energy, diversification of export routes, development of regional energy centers and innovative technologies. Particular attention is paid to the need to adapt to geopolitical, economic and environmental challenges, including the changes in global energy demand structure, sanctions restrictions and international climate commitments. As a result of the study, we have emphasized the importance of international cooperation, integration into global energy processes and active participation in the development of new standards of sustainable development.
