Illegal access to computer information: directions of composition optimization

In this article, the author analyzes the objective-subjective signs of a crime under Art. 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Illegal access to computer information». At the same time, a brief review of judicial practice was carried out, reflecting the problem of qualification of the investigated corpus delicti, its weaknesses were noted. In addition, the problems of using acts of interpretation of law in order to qualify the socially dangerous consequences of the analyzed acts are emphasized. The result of the study is the author's proposal to modernize the disposition of the criminal law norm.
