The article discusses several theories of physical education used in the development of training and exercise programs for cadets and students of educational organizations. The theory of adaptation is described, which involves a gradual increase in physical activity to avoid overstrain of muscles and injuries. The theory of specificity is also considered, which states that training should be aimed at developing specific physical qualities necessary to perform tasks. The article also describes the theory of overload, which involves the use of loads exceeding the current level of physical fitness to stimulate growth and development. An important aspect of physical education is an individual approach to each student and cadet.
