Terminological correspondence or detection of translation difficulties in the cognitive aspect

The article is devoted to the specifics of the translation of musical discourse terms using the cognitive-discursive approach. The article considers the main theoretical aspects of cognitive terminology, distinguishes between the concepts of " terminosystem" and "terminology". The relevance of studying the musical terminological system is due to the consideration of its features and difficulties of translation from the point of view of cognitive linguistics, which studies the role of language in the processes of categorization and conceptualization of the world, its cognition, and also aimed at studying the cognitive mechanisms of human thinking. In this work, based on the text of the article "El Estudio del Bel Canto" by I. Mari, the main translation difficulties associated with the search for terminological correspondences are identified. There are attempts to substantiate the effectiveness of cognitive-frame modeling of the terminological system for working with specialized texts in this article. The modeling of the musical terminological system when working with the source text (ST) and the target text (TT) is considered as the most important stage of the pre-translation analysis, since the cognitive modeling helps to establish terminological correspondences and resolve the main translation difficulties, as well as improve the adequacy of the translation. For a deeper understanding of the meaning of the ST text and its subsequent transfer to the TT, the BEL CANTO frame in Spanish was modeled. Not only the key verbal representatives of the BEL CANTO concept, terminological and lexical units were noted, but also the semantic links between them (antonymic and synonymous links, subsumption relations and whole-part relationships) were highlighted. To create an adequate TT and more convenient search for terminological correspondences, a frame was modeled in Russian, which also reflects the BEL CANTO musical terminology system and internal semantic links between lexical units.
