Thermopolycondensation of heavy oil residues to produce an electrode pitch

The paper presents the research of thermopolycondensation process of heavy oil residue mixture (visbreaking residue: tar 1:1) under varying thermobaric conditions of thermal cracking process to obtain electrode pitch with requirements of metallurgical industry, as well as to replace the deficit of electrode coal pitch, avoid import dependence and improve the environmental characteristics of the pitch material.
