The author of the article examines how the territorial-economic zoning of the city of Omsk developed with the course of time. He also discusses methodological and practical aspects of creation of actual territorial-economic zoning of this territory on the basis of previous, the most popular variants of zoning. Then he shows the basic results of territorial-economic zoning developed by the Noncommercial Partnership «Omsk Bench of Appraisers», as of January 1, 2014.
