Terrorism as a problem of a globalizing society

The article analyzes terrorism as a serious crime and an extremely negative socio-political phenomenon. It is argued that terrorism as a whole can be regarded as a threat at the most diverse levels of human existence — from the primary social level (a threat to a person, his personal safety and the safety of his family) to the macro level (a threat to the entire world community as a whole).
