Test control as a means of intensification of English language teaching

Nowadays the test form of control is the most popular and widespread in the educational process, as it contributes to the rapid identification of students' knowledge during training. Therefore, this issue requires detailed theoretical and practical consideration. The relevance of the research topic is due to the attention of modern methods of teaching foreign languages to identifying students with the necessary knowledge of the material they have passed. The authors have studied the basic concepts in the control system in teaching; it is revealed that control is one of the leading means of intensifying English language teaching; the main types of control are considered, as well as examples of common test tasks are given.
