Tests as a means of organizing independent work of cadets in the process of studying natural science disciplines

“Independence”, “independent work”, “tests” in pedagogical theory and practice are not new concepts, but are actively used at the present time. The article is devoted to the current problem of organizing independent work of cadets in the process of studying natural sciences, in particular computer science and physics, through tests. Answers to test tasks require independent studies, such as working with texts of textbooks, lecture notes, additional literature, in order to acquire knowledge, consolidate and systematize it. On the one hand, tests are used to assess the level of knowledge, skills and abilities of students, on the other hand, tests can be used for learning in the process of independent work. In the article, the authors give examples of the use of compliance tests; for sequencing; constructive tests.
