The article emphasizes the relevance of the use of modern multimedia in teaching English in a changing social and cultural environment. Multilevel social demand and the practice of modern education require a comprehensive study of the English language in the educational process using ICT. An analysis of monographic and methodological literature, as well as the results of dissertation research, revealed some of the features of the current stage of using ICT in teaching English. A new approach to teaching English is the use of information and technology.
