The most important trends and principles of modern linguistics

The article is devoted to the new linguistic trends of the late 20th and early 21st century. The sources of these trends, the prospects of their further development, the subjects of research, and the problems are the subject of the study. In the article the main trends and principles of the modern linguistics are identified and described. These are integrative, anthropocentric, communicative, dialogical, discursive, culturocentric, interest in deep knowledge of the language, they interact even in one study.
