Текст научной статьи The role of information and communication technologies in the training of modern specialists
In due time for the purpose of the comprehensive, qualified specialist in formation of society of the knowledge received in higher education institution it is important to find the place. Representatives of the younger generation should develop in such a way that in the era of dominance of information technology, they can effectively and in the shortest possible time to master the technique.
Now in the world there is a process of rapid development and introduction of computer technology in all spheres of human activity. The active penetration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in all spheres of society has not left indifferent the education system. To prepare people for life in the information society it is necessary to teach the technologies of this new society [1, 33 р.].
The use of computer technology leads to rapid, skillful and correct receipt, storage and transmission, rational use of information. Modern society requires not only fundamental basic training of graduates of technical and vocational education of various profiles, but also information technology training required in production.
Information and communication technologies (ICT) in a broad sense is the use of computer technology and telecommunications facilities for the implementation of information processes for the operational and effective functioning of information on a legal basis.
The introduction of ICT in the educational process is not as important a necessity as the process of conscious technologization in order to release the creative energy of the individual of modern society.
The main goal of teachers is not only the organization and implementation of the process of mastering strong basic knowledge and learning skills, but also the formation of a personality capable of adapting to modern living conditions.
Currently, information and communication technologies (ICT) have two directions in the training process:
The first direction is the development of computer literacy to gain knowledge in a certain area of subjects.
The second direction is the use of computer technology as a powerful learning tool that will improve the quality and efficiency of students ' knowledge [2, 43 р.].
Classes using information technologies allow not only to facilitate learning but also to develop creative abilities of students, to enhance cognitive activity, to promote the formation of active life position in the modern society. At all stages of the educational process, especially in the study of special disciplines, we use ICT elements such as electronic textbooks, interactive whiteboards, electronic encyclopedias, educational resources of the Internet, discs with films and illustrations, electronic tools, presentations with a multimedia projector.
Students use technology to find information to prepare essays on different subjects in the course and diploma works, when you run the calculations after work and pregraduation practice [3, 123 р.].
In the future, when studying special disciplines, for free orientation in information flows, a modern specialist of any profile should be able to receive, process and use information using computers, telecommunications and other means of communication.
Multimedia technologies in an educational institution should be the object of research, so that the future specialist could optimally use them as a way to optimize the educational process.
In the course of pedagogical practice, a study was conducted to identify the interest of students in the Humanities to information and communication technologies.
The objects of the study were the 2nd year students of the specialty "Journalism" and "Psychology" of the humanitarian direction. During the study, second-year students of the Humanities specialty "Journalism" and "Psychology" got acquainted with the theoretical foundations of computer science, during practical and laboratory classes, students worked with the main software packages of General and special purpose.
During the semester of training in information and communication technologies, students of the Humanities at the basic level mastered text and tabular editors, and when working with new programs with special enthusiasm performed. In particular, students of the 2nd year of the specialty "Journalism" actively showed interest in working with a video editor, actively developed themselves in creative terms. Working with a DVR is one of the most popular programs for the future profession of journalists.
And the 2nd year students of the specialty "Psychology" enthusiastically began to compile a Web-sheet in HTML, each enthusiastically began to compile individual Web-pages. Students asked on Web-sheets backdrops where showed creative activity and recited Web-pages about themselves, about the schedule of movies in the cinema, about the schedule of trains and taxis. Thus, in the course of the research can be assessed high interest of students to the subject of information technology.
In modern society, information literacy and culture have become the key to successful professional activity. As much as students know about the possibilities of ICT, they can more quickly use new methods of obtaining information and turning it into knowledge.
Therefore, the purpose of teaching computer science is not only the formation of computer literacy, but also the preparation of the student for life in the information society, that is, the formation of information culture. Summing up all the above, we can conclude: the introduction of information technology in the educational process should be qualitatively justified and not universally substitute, and complementary factor in the modern education system. It is also important that students can not only assimilate information, but also relate it to specific life or professional situations.
